8 1/2 x 11 Special Edition Prints Special Edition Prints are available as alternatives to open edition prints for collectors who want Giclee prints on 100% cotton rag acid free fine art paper. The special ultrachrome pigment inks used are extremely fade resistant, and are claimed by the manufacturer to last up to 200 years. Special Editions are limited to 100, and each are hand signed and numbered by the artist. Special Editions will not be offered as a limited number of Giclee prints on fine art paper again, and will come with a certificate of authenticity stating so. However, as these are not true limited editions, artworks of Special Edition Prints will still be offered as open editions when the Special Editions run out. These 8 1/2 x 11 prints are bordered, with the actual image size being approximately 8 x 10, to fit into an 11 x 14 matte with an 8 x 10 opening (matte does not come with print).
